Re: Rex Range seems unusually high

REx is purely adding energy to the battery pack, the little gas engine is no more or less efficient based on your driving style, unlike basically every other hybrid and plug-in hybrid. Your efficiency "city" versus "highway" is based on the electric motor. As far as the car is c...

Re: Rex Range seems unusually high

Unlike most other cars ( specially hybrids) , i do not understand why the city and highway numbers are NOT listed separately for the rex Based on the design, that the engine runs on mostly optimized rpm, so i think the city mileage of rex will be much higher than other cars and freeway mileage much ...

Re: steering Wheel became Hard to turn

The i3's steering is powered by an electric motor with none of the hydraulic lines of the typical power steering system. I feel they need to rewrite this software. I feel , part of the reason why the car feels like jumping left right , is the steering wheel which does not have a center bias. At hig...

Re: Comfort Access - car hesitates

I mean, i can see the lock jerks a little , and the click sound, but the car will not lock. Lever will not depress completely. Opening the door and clos...

My car refuses to accept commands from app, saying no connectivity , but keeps updating the SOC and GPS location SO clearly the cell phone connection is working and its b...

Re: Keeping BMW i3-REx, replacing Prius Prime with Model 3

So Bob, what is the date estimate of the delivery for this car ?

BTW The sound system in premium package is very well balanced . its audiophile quality and is a pleasure to listen too...everytime.
I tend to listen at very high volume with 0 degradation. Feels like DTS theater. I approve of it!

Re: Regen and front wheels

I'm thinking the front brakes are applied , that would make sense. I would like to test it out on the snowy day in an open parking lot and just release accelerator pedal and see what happens It happened again. On a steep down slope , after a small bump, only the rear tiers skidded . So it looks lik...

Bimmercode options to enhance safety

It looks like bimmercode app keeps adding features. I was thinking of enabling the Rear Daytime running lights. Does anyone think , its not a good idea ? I think , They should last the life of the car and consume little energy ? Also the Brake Force Display sounds like a good thing ? Should we enabl...
