Re: iRemote app not working ?

Mine seems to start but wont let me sign in. Just takes me to the upgrade to connected drive page. This seems to have happened about a week ago.

Re: Clonking Front Suspension

Looks like the coupler has worn out. It is a simple U-joint type of part. They can wear out quickly or last for ever. All depends on how good the manufacturer of the part is. The part runs for about $150 USD and the dealership should be able to install it so it is properly torqued and aligned. Coupl...

Re: Bimmercode options to enhance safety

I have my rear parking lights come on all the time. I also turned up my front DRL's to 100%. I would love to have some fog lights as well but the holes that should house the fog lights are busy with the high beams and tun signals.

The newer front bumper looks like they finally got it right!

Re: Turbine wheel tyre choices and sizing

I have a set of winters wheels with Bridgestone 155/70 R 19 tires that I recently purchased. I looked for the 175's but nothing is coming up other than the 155's in the Bridgestone line in 19" in all season and winter sizes. I find these 19's are quite skinny compared to my 20" summer tires.

Re: My Arrivani Gray i3 REX

I expect that the OP leased the car 30 months ago and probably has returned it or is just about to.

Here is a shot of mine (sorry for the large size):

Re: Motor defect

I did hear of another motor failing several months ago. Poster said that the noise got louder and louder until it couldn't be ignored. I am not too sure about the details but it seamed that the dealership didn't want to do anything until the noise was unbearable.

Re: Brakes

I like the idea of swapping out the little brakes but I expect that BMW looked at the brake size and combined that with the regen effects to give us what we have. I am looking at changing out our GTI brakes to big brembos mainly because I can do it for a good price and not too far from OE brake cost...

Re: Oil Change questions.

I just took ours (2015 REX) in for it's annual check up and oil change. This service was flagged in the connected app and since I just got the warranty extended, I wanted to get the car in for our local BMW dealership to look it over (our car came from California but that is another story). The oil ...

Re: Ohio EV tax

Seems like a penalty to the EV owners. I read some of the stats for Ohio (2011 to 2016) had about 6,200 EV's on the road so it doesn't sound like a huge jackpot win for the tax man at the end of the day. Compared to California at 258,000 EV's (2011 to 2016). Road and highway tolls can also be a good...

Re: How many of you have this "problem"

My latest trip gave me a whopping 1.5

I had the heater and seats on as well as preconditioning without being plugged in. Lots of stopping and accelerating :) too.
