Hi all,

Seeing the last post about base sound, I was wondering if there are any good DIY upgrades that you could do to improve sound?
IE, replace speakers, or add in some extra base or something?
Obviously something that will not eat batteries :)

Just curious

Just don't go with the BAVSOUND option, man that was a terrible waste of time...!

Your best bet would be to replace the amplifier with a 4 channel amp, get coaxial replacements in the doors and components in the footwell with a custom tweeter installation where the stock HK front tweeter would be. I believe you could get this for $200 for all the speakers, approximately $250 for the amplifier and then a couple hours of shop time for installation.

Cheers and good luck, don't buy the Bavsound!
