Driver door opened the car will stop

Why the car shuts off when i open the driver side door? For instance, i am going to check my mailbox. As soon as i walked out the car shuts down. Im not sure if the AC as well. I cant find the "ass" button auto start/stop.

Do i really need to code this?
 
The car will shut off if you opened the driver side door.

Press and hold on the brake while the door is opened to prevent the car from shutting down.
 
Also the AC shuts off , each time the door is opened.
I find this very annoying , especially by design , for rear passenger , the front door has to be opened.
 
It only shuts down with the driver's door opening, and, if your seatbelt is not on. I do not think that there is a coding setting to overcome this, but I've not looked, haven't heard of anyone finding it. It will stay on if the passenger's door is opened, at least from what I remember.
 
i code all of my bmw's and succesfully coded "ASS" the code i found on the i3 was not working to disable it.

this is getting ridiculous seriously...
