Sorry to sound dumb but I was not aware this happened. Is there an after action analysis of what happened?

FYI, it is a BMW i3-REx as there is a gas flap. I'm thinking the vent tube recall.

As seems to be the case frequently, the video of this fire was posted on many Websites with all sorts of commentary because an EV fire attracts Website viewers, ad revenue, etc. But a followup about what caused the fire is unsensational, would not attract many Website viewers and thus not much ad revenue, so the followup is not likely to be published.

I haven't found any explanation for this fire. Because the fire extinguishers were directed at the rear passenger side of this REx, the fire was likely caused by leaking gasoline just like most ICE vehicle fires rather than any of the electric drive components.
