I spent quite some time to find a tablet holder for the front of the car. Could not find much things that would fit nicely (and really did not like the idea of cupholder tablet mount). So - I have designed my own, and posted it here for the world to share:

You can check the photos of the holder on the Thingiverse as well. some drilling under the dashboard around cigarette plug is needed to attach the assembly - but could be avoided with strong adhesive tape. I prefer screws for better mechanical connection.
