I'd like to install a rear facing dashcam in the lift back door. Looking at the schematics I couldn't find a 12V wire in there. I want to check if I missed something and there is a 12V feed there after all.

There's a standard 12v "cigarette lighter" outlet in the cargo area.

If you are in the market for a front dashcam, too, there are "dual dashcam" models out there, that use one electrical connection in the front, then you just run a wire from the front dashcam to the rear dashcam, and it supplies the power without having to tap in in the rear. (It also stores both video feeds on one SD card in the front dashcam.)

Here's a review of one of that type (shown in a Mini of similar layout to the i3): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGXiXz6QXQ4

I'm sure that there is 12vdc in the rear hatch to power the lights.
The voltage is there only when the lights are on.

I don't like dual dashcams. They usually squeeze two channels into a single file, halving the quality of each stream. And the cable has to be run through the whole car, and this is what I want to avoid.
