Another Bluetooth streming issue

I'm able to stream music from my Samsung G4 phone via Bluetooth as I can hear the music play through the car and can use the steering controls to skip ahead or go backwards song by song. However if I were to stop the music app and use the YouTube or Google Map/Navigation, the phone goes silent (meaning it is still trying to stream the audio instead of playing back with the internal speakers), but nothing comes out of the car's audio system. I don't have the same issue with the other cars I tried (Nissan, Jeep, and Dodge) as they all can take the Bluetooth stream from the phone no matter if I use the music app or YT or Nav apps. Does anyone else stream YouTube and have the same issue?
