Wiper Sensitivity

I know there have been previous posts about the poor sensitivity of the auto wipers and I thought that someone had posted that BMW were aware of the problem and had a fix for it. However, I cannot find that post! Anyone know what the BMW task number is for the job?

I assume you know about the sensitivity switch on the wiper stalk......

Having had the car for 3 years I would think so!

“Could you communicate to the group that if anyone is visiting their Retailer for a separate issue that
involves a software update, we will increase or decrease the sensitivity of the rain light sensor, free of
charge. If any user feels that the wiper system is not operating correctly, then please contact their local
Retailer and the technicians will check that the system is fault free (adjust the sensitivity of the rain light
sensor on a case by case basis).”
