I had a 7kw Rolec home charger installed before delivery of my i3. Since delivery I have charged the car many times. However every time the charge level gets to about 79% the iPhone app shows that the charge was interrupted. Although it automatically restarts a few minutes later, eventually it gets to around 90% and the car shows a 'charge error' (red flashing light around the connector on the car) and then will not restart. The only solution is to restart the whole charge process, by removing the cable etc. Has anyone else experienced this while charging using a 7kw fast charge, either with a Rolec charger or other?
The three pin slow charger works fine and charges to 100% with no errors. I have also charged at a service station using the DC CCS combo fast charger and it appears to work OK.
