<When is the Thruway Authority going to catch up with California in providing level 3 DC electric vehicle (20 minute) charging stations at fuel/rest stops? New York DEC and admin seem hell-bent on keeping up with California on air emissions controls, but haven't even approached the California installations of EV charging stations. NYSERDA and PASNY seem to be dropping these things across the state, but not where WE NEED and Thruway could MAKE MONEY by installing them. Come on guys; you've got the market cornered!
I had to drive my ICE BMW to Skaneateles Saturday because there are virtually ZERO Level 2, much less level 3 stations between Albany and there. So my new i3 sat home.
Please get with the program if you want us to.
