ChargeNow is introducing a monthly-fee business model but the old £20 annual subscription model (advertised by BMW and which many of us probably signed up for) remains in force together with its )different) charging costs.

For those on the old Annual Fee scheme the charging costs are no longer on the ChargeNow website but are shown on the Polar Instant website (polarinstant.com/map). These are

· £1.50 per hour for 13A 3-pin chargers

· £1.70 per hour for Type 2 chargers (32 or 64 amps)

· £7.50 for 30 minutes for triplex rapid chargers

You can also get a PolarInstant account (same company as ChargeNow and ChargeMaster) which has the same charging costs but does not have an Annual Fee.

I am trying to establish with BMW what it is I've paid my £20 Annual Subscription for as it does not seem to give me any benefit whatsoever.
