Over 2.1k in November alone. That's not shabby, especially when you compare it to sales figures for other models, for example. BMW always planned to produce around 20k i3 per year, so they are well within this range. Also, it is a strong figure given that a battery upgrade has already been announced, which might have hampered with some customer decisions.

A Maryland dealer is offering a "12-month test drive" of an in-stock i3 with the purchase of an X-series. They have more than 20 i3s in stock at last check.

Sounds a touch desperate.

Over 3% of 2015 BMW US sales were i3 vehicles. 11,000 units altogether sold in the U.S. of A only.
