Range Assistant question

The range assistant is a huge improvement to a SOC indicator. The BMW range assistant seems to calculate everything according to how far you can travel in one direction. Can it be configured to calculate the trip as out and back? There are very few charging stations in my area and the vast majority of my trips are going to be round trips. Being able to calculate the trip as out and back would be a really useful feature.
