Haven't found a dealer yet that said anything except "We're not participating in this".

As a long-time BMW enthusiast this is very disappointing.

After 5 dealers I guess no one really wants my business.

Some dealers embrace the i3, some don't since it does not normally require much maintenance and they often make more in the service bay than they do in the sales floor. IMHO, this is folly, but then, I'm not a BMW dealership owner!

I managed to take a car for an extended drive twice from different dealers. Was refused once.

My closest dealer doesn't participate. I even asked if they had any i3's in their loaner fleet so I could drive one while my car was in for maintenance. But they don't do that.

I talked to the dealer where I bought one of my BMWs a few years ago. This was a few months ago. They are big i3 supporters and participate in the program but they told me the program cars come from BMW and that they had none at that time. I'm guessing that since BMW is pushing that idea again perhaps now there is a fleet of cars making the rounds. Unfortunately they are about 35 miles away so it harder to work with them.

BMW USA should have a way to search and find a participating dealer.
