Hello,

I find that the placement of the backup camera usual. Most cars have it higher up.

It gets dirty very very easily in rainy weather and gives a blurry picture as a result.

Does anyone have any remedies for this? Any suggetions to prevent dirt from collecting on the lens? Perhaps some kind of coating that I can put on to limit dirt from sticking?

Every car I've owned had similar problems, so my experience with the i3 is no different. You might try just some wax or maybe some RainX. I try to get in the habit of wiping it off whenever I open the hatch.

Works every time.

Good one!

It just rains too much here in Vancouver (Raincouver), BC.

No one washes their cars much during winter.

As I said, just get into the habit of swiping a finger, preferably gloved, over the sensor when you walk by. RainX or wax can help if it's clean, to repel some of the liquid stuff.
