I quote... "An electrified statement of intent. With a generous budget and modest miles in mind, the i3 is simple unbeatable **** 1/2*"

"....December Automobile Magazine's swipe at the i3 MSRP as a luxury eco toy...while praising the engineering."

Luxury? Yes ...... it's a BMW. Eco? Yes .....'a car with peerless eco cred"(Wheels Magazine Australia. Feb. 2015) & "officially much greener than any other car"(Petrany, M. 2013) . Toy? Absolutely ... just like any other Ford Mustang, WRX, SS Commodore, or any car worth driving for fun....

"The BMW i3 ....is one whose soul exists to be enjoyed, not just endured" ( Saunders, M. autocar.co.uk)

But the i3 is even better than these toys. It enabled us to travel the 29,000km to date without any of the maintenance anxiety or other back end fuel costs that so many other toys extort. It meets our working needs perfectly while being fun. And it does not come with the huge externalised costs of pollution ( we power ours 100% from solar) that so many motoring journalists never profile and only mention minimally as mandated.

As stated by TopGear "Overall, the i3 makes conventional cares suddenly feel like dinosaurs" http://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/bmw/i3
