You need to have the exact code and use ISTA to run a test schedule to figure out what is the problem.
I with Ran a scan no errors using my downloaded copy of ISTA/D but it does have errors on dash and still won't start. I've been told by BMW today it is a "Safety Box" other known as "Accumulator" that is located on the battery itself that will need to be removed from the vehicle
I hope it is not this. as it is very difficult fix!
It may be the IBS lead (negative lead) that is faulty, I might just take it in to them and get them to check it out, I don't think anyone is mechanical smart about these cars just yet , only one technician per workshop work on them!
