Hi Guys

Very impressive mileage on your cars!

When you state how many miles you have driven, and the health of battery, could you then also please share how you have charged it primarily?

I think the official advice from BMW is to just keep it plugged in whenever possible, but i am not sure that is actually the best way to ensure long battery life.

Hi Bo,

I have no real advice or battery tips. Keep in mind that the battery is never actually charged to its real maximum capacity though. This ‘ceiling’ is controlled by the Battery Management System (BMS). This *should* protect the battery from premature wear.

I simply always plug our car in our 240v, 12 amps charger whenever possible.

If only batteries were cheaper it wouldn't be so much of a concern.
