BMW says governments need to offer more incentives

BMW CEO Norbert Reithofer told the German government that they need to offer more tax subsidies for electric vehicles. The German government’s goal of having one million electric cars on German roads by the end of the decade will require more tax incentives and subsidies. All of this comes weeks after rumors that BMW would delay or even discontinue some of its planned electric vehicles within the new i brand because of lagging demand and EV infrastructure.
