…What is a reasonable amount to expect off of MSRP? $4,000? $5,000? $6,000? I negotiated 7% off MSRP near the end of model-year 2018 on a custom-ordered i3 Sport. Look for dusty models on dealer lots for better deals. And, if you're in the U.S., mine https://www.bmwusa.com/special-offers for additi...

Re: I3 vs I3S: Suspension, driving comfort

The Sport feels less flighty at highway speeds, which greatly increases my commuting comfort. In the city, it is a choppier ride over uneven pavement.

Re: Integration of Apple CarPlay with iDrive

To reiterate, what I am simply asking for is that I be able to access Apple CarPlay as just another option like satellite radio. I should be able to move from one to the other seamlessly. ... You can still move between them seamlessly after pairing your phone via CarPlay. Arguably, the most consequ...

The automatic high beams? There’s an on/off button on the end of the turn-signal stalk, below the BC button. Available only on 2019+ models with adaptive LED headlights, a new option.

The interior is one of my favorite aspects of the car. It's a moonshot design by BMW.

Compared to a 2015 model, highway driving is significantly improved in a 2018 i3 Sport. Because of the revised suspension and wider tires, the car feels less flighty at higher speeds. The difference in city driving between the two is not as noticeable.

Re: Rear-Fog Switch Retrofit (U.S. i3s)

If you can wait two months , this one might work, even with the superfluous (in the i3) front-fog switch: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-european-bmw-parts/european-headlight-switch/61319265303~oeb/ It looks as if the rear-fog Euro switch that is still being manufactured, and plays nice with LE...

Re: Rear-Fog Switch Retrofit (U.S. i3s)

I have installed the i3’s Euroswitch with the illuminated rear-fog button — pressing it also lights up 5. No, lighting up 7 is a coding setting somewhere in the BDC_Body module.

Re: Rear-Fog Switch Retrofit (U.S. i3s)

I tried the exacto method and while I can push the button in further now, it doesn't seem to have a return spring to release it so I have to pry it back out. Your plight inspired me to take apart the light switch installed on my i3 at the factory, and it doesn't appear that the blank buttons will a...
