There's a difference between a tax credit and a tax deduction. Even those who don't pay any Federal income taxes can still get the full amount of the credit back as a refund. I used the terminals I posted above. Works great with a Thinkware F770.

No key required. Downloading the stuff can be lengthy, but you don't have to be sitting in front on your computer during the download. Not hard to do it yourself if you have a Windows computer, a $20 OBD II to ethernet cable (you can order from Amazon or eBay) and software you can find online. Take a look at bmwcoding.com or search for e-sys

Just verified via a multi-meter that the unswitched terminal has ~14v at all times (I didn't wait 20 minutes to see if it dropped, btw) and the switched terminal has ~14v when the car is in accessory mode or ready mode, else it has ~0v on it.
