Re: Sunshades for the windshield that work

Have you looked at the official the BMW one? They sell one that mounts on the outside of the car. It insulates the windshield and both front door windows. Part number 82 15 2 348 067 - Try eBay, one of the on-line BMW parts sources or a BMW dealer. BMW also make sun screens that mount inside the rea...

Re: Questions to ask the dealer

Here in the UK, heat pump is an option on the BEV only. I don't know if the US market has it as standard. In the UK, the heat pump adds roughly 10 miles of winter range. It doesn't get as cold here as it does in SLC. Colder weather means the car will use the resistance heater to warm up the car. BMW...

Re: New Owner Charging Questions

I just purchased a 2014 i3. Also, what is required if I want to obtain level 2 charging capability? Your i3 has either 3.6kW or 7kW AC level 2 on-board charging. 7kW was standard in many regions but not all. You need a Level 2 EVSE and a 240 VAC connection. 3.6kW EVSE needs a 20Amp circuit and a 7k...

I was hoping to get some feedback. Please feel free to give me your thoughts. My wife is VERY upset
Which is more important to you, your marriage or your new licence plate? If it is your marriage, ditch the plate immediately. Get your wife involved in choosing something else.

Re: Tire pressure sticker missing?

Actually, BMW USA shows a couple of different BMW first aid kits, as well as the BMW safety vests listed for sale on their web-site and links you to a local dealer to complete the purchase. https://www.shopbmwusa.com/BMW-SAFETY-PRODUCTS The American kit is different. It looks like BMW USA are selli...

Might be something the Dealer just added?

US dealers are not able to order the first aid kit.

The previous owner might have bought the kit, triangle and vests on eBay or even at an EU BMW dealer.

Re: Tire pressure sticker missing?

I guess for a U.S. car, mine is not the norm. And both the BMW Emergency First Aid Kit, and the BMW High Visibility Safety Vests Amazing. How old is your car? Could it have been part of the press fleet? I've sat in one pre-production BMW (not an i3) and it had different stickers. Have you checked y...
