Re: Third One's A Keeper

Congrats! I ordered a Giga BEV in June, and iI don't even have a build date. I feel that it may never get built and I'll have to keep my 2018.

Ha, I forgot about the obvious- the plastic key! Anyway, after the doors are open, applying 12V to "jump" the car isn't that difficult.

Also, compare the option packages. The tech/assistance package, Giga or Tera trims are worth paying extra.

Re: Where should I get my i3 alignments done?

Just had new tires installed. The old one wore unevenly despite me watching the pressure. The car always drove straight. They still lasted 21k miles, which seems fairly typical.

Re: I3 with dead 12v and release cable frozen

What a story... I would try to open the front doors (possibly with help of a locksmith. From there I'd attempt to access to the battery terminals under the trunk cover. If not possible, I'd hook up a 12V source to the fuse panel on the passenger side.

Re: Deka World dominance?

I agree that Giga is the best looking interior and the Tech package is a must. I had to special order to get what I wanted.
If you spend a lot of time in traffic, consider enabling "full self driving" https://quidzel.com/ It works very well in slow freeway traffic.

Wow…not even an estimate?
I'm calling BMW weekly and they they can't tell me anything. Not even if the factory is running.

Cars are hard to find now. I had to pull my 18 off the market when my factory order was delayed without even an estimate.
