Re: Doug DeMouro reviews the i3 Rex

IMHO, building the i3 was more than just designing a new car...it was a lead-in to new production techniques, a statement (you may or may not agree with), and is one of the few vehicles available that was a true, clean-sheet exercise to flex some creative muscle. It was never designed for huge numb...

Re: back-up camera question

What is really annoying is when you go through the car wash and accidentally hit reverse when putting it in neutral. Then the rear ultrasonic sensors are active beeping throughout the entire car wash. They seem to turn off above a specific speed. You can turn off the parking sensors using the butto...

Re: Regenerative braking around curves

I have experienced similar behaviour when slowing down and hitting a bump on the road.

The regen. braking "disconnects" and the car let loose for a second.

It's a very scary experience.

Heard from others, this is normal behaviour.

Re: Canceling turn signals

I believe what you suggested is already available.

I set the turn signals one way, and am able to cancel it with either direction (same or opposite).

I also notice this when your car is coming to a stop and u press on the brake pedal. It's most apparent when you are nearing the drive-thru window with your car windows rolled down. :D Perhaps it's the brakes making adjustments? Either way, I find it really cool, and assume it's normal behaviour.

Re: Info on maintenance and some advice needed

I have owned my BEV since 2015, and have not run into any mechanical issues. *knock on wood* Do you drive on the highways often? I was referring to a charging network within the city. It's nice to be able to get a quick charge around town while having dinner, buying groceries, or working out at the ...

Even in NZD that's a lot!

Not trying to argue with you, but that made no sense to an average consumer like me...
