Re: i3 Tires - A disaster

I have the same situation but its my passenger side front and rear tires that got bubbles after 1 year and 10k miles of driving here in socal. I tried reaching out to Bridgestone but they refused stating it was a road hazard issue and not covered under warranty. I've been driving for nearly 20 years...

Re: My 2016 i3 Rex Darth Vader

Nice car!

What has been your experience on the handling with the spacers and drop?

The stock ride is surprisingly decent given the height and skinny tires, but I'm wondering how much of a difference spacers/springs would make.

TIA!

Re: 3D Printed Phone Holder in accessory slot

Any chance you could make a cupholder similar to the oem one but about an inch larger in diameter?

There's a place I get drinks from that has abnormally fat cups that don't fit into the regular cupholders

Re: Coding the i3

Just read through all 26 pages and didn't see an answer for this... Anyone here have the business (non tech package / professional) navigation and was able to successfully code video playback from the usb? I've tried everything and am unable to get it to work. I can see an option to view video files...

Re: Preconditioning advice

I'm only 1 month into ownership but it looks like with only two settings and multiple schedules you would just have to manually change it in the car or using the phone app.

Alternatively, a more expensive solution is to lease another i3 solely for the wife

Re: Opening Key FOB

Hi websterize, I did see that post but the problem I'm having is the #2 part..I can't seem to get the cover to pop off and afraid using more force will break the plastic  I thought at first the battery as not replaceable similar to other BMW's without comfort access, but I borrowed a friends i3...

Opening Key FOB

Hi all, I've tried this on both a comfort access and non comfort access key but cannot seem to get the back cover open. According to the directions, it is a pretty simple two step process of taking out the valet key and popping off the back plate but either I'm not using enough force or something is...

Re: Carseats and the back seat

We have a 7 month old a getting him in and out of the rear facing carseat is pretty easy...but we were coming from a R56 Mini Cooper  I will second the comment about the awkward positioning of the rear doors in tight spaces though...even without a carseat it can be tough to maneuver out with a ...
