Re: Highest Mileage i3/REX?

What tires get 60k out of them on an i3? I get between 15k and 25k and would like a real tire that can go normal distance.

Re: Rear bike carrier

I use the trailer hitch with a 1upUSA rack for my bike on the i3. Bike rides on there tight, no issues.

Trailer Hitch Wiring?

Does anyone have a pointer to a trailer hitch wiring kit that will work with an i3? I'm not looking for opinions on wiring it up or on towing, just on the kit. Not sure if the tail lights plug is the same form factor and wiring pin layout as another BMW and I can just order another BMW model kit.

Thanks! That makes sense, guess I'm limited on rotating tires just between left and right as the two on the front need to stay there (narrower than rear rims/tires).

i3 Rims: "Cutting" direction going forward on one side and backwards on other side

Hello, purchased 2015 i3 this month and just noticed my rim direction. I have the Giga World 19" #429 rims. On one side of the car, the rim direction is one direction (such as cutting forward) and on the other side of the car the rims are the other direction. On both sides of the car, the wheel dire...

Re: 2014 i3 with 94 Ah 2017 battery - in California!

Interesting, looks like a good find! I just purchased my 15 i3 this month and one of the deciding factors (over a Leaf) was that BMW was investing in backwards compatibility of the battery. The Leaf, with its new increased capacity but same form factor battery is not supporting upgrades of older uni...
