Re: New i3 REX owner!!!

I've been very satisfied with my Clipper Creek HCS-40P but I was looking for a simple EVSE without any bells or whistles.

Re: Charging time 2016 60AH

What would be interesting to know is 'For any given EVSE , which power level (kW) is it communicating to the vehicle as it's MAXIMUM Allowable ? ' . 30 Amps is close to our i3's maximum but if the EVSE doesn't allow our maximum then which power level will our i3 step down to ? The ChargePoint stati...

Re: Removing Silver Accent Stripe?

A member in the Facebook group mentioned removing the silver decal. They wrote: Alan Sluka - Here’s black with the silver stripe removed in case you’re still on the fence about it. Kurt Edelbach - Sweet. Did you use any heat to remove it, or just peel it off? Any residue left? Alan Sluka - Heat, sti...

Re: Failed Emission Test

That document states: The EME control unit communicates with the EDME control unit, in which the 12 V power management functions are performed. The result is the setpoint value specification for the voltage, which the DC/DC converter should adjust in the low-voltage vehicle electrical system. The co...

When things drop offline unexpectedly one thing to check the their domain registration. This domain is "in quarantine" which means the administrator probably let the registration lapse. Re: Installation of an auxiliary heater to improve electric range

The battery is heated using electrical resistance heating elements and cooled using a refrigerant loop from the A/C system. This water loop is only for cabin heating . It connects the cabin restive heater and the optional heat-pump to the cabin heater core.
