Re: fuel flap cover not working

Hi

Managed to fix my car again.

The repair cost when out of warranty is approximately 5000DKK, 3700DKK labour and 1300DKK for the new sensor.

I ended up not replacing the sensor, but re calibrating the old one using ISTA+.

Everything works fine now, and i hope it stays that way.

ISTA-D for BMW I3

Hi

I need to diagnose my I3 and also recalibrate my fuel pressure sensor.

Does any one know if the "normal" ISTA-D software is compatible with BMW I3 and does anyone know a cable that works well with the I3?

Re: fuel flap cover not working

Hi

My 2015 (out of warranty) REX has the same problem. Holding the button makes no difference, it is just showing 25%.

Does any one know the approximate cost for this repair?

Re: i3 Milestones

Hi Steve

Thank you for your reply.

I am probably just overthinking this battery longevity thing :-)

If only batteries were cheaper it wouldn't be so much of a concern.

Re: i3 Milestones

Hi Guys Very impressive mileage on your cars! When you state how many miles you have driven, and the health of battery, could you then also please share how you have charged it primarily? I think the official advice from BMW is to just keep it plugged in whenever possible, but i am not sure that is ...
