Re: Refit of Rex/more batteries

I have opted for the BEV, but I would like a removable battery(s) in the space where the REX goes. That way if you need to go longer distances you only pay for the weight when you need it (unlike the REX). Also, I don't think you necessarily have to have those modules cooled the same way the main b...

Blue / Grey power bar

HI all

Does anyone know why the blue area on the power bar sometimes goes grey? Mine seems to do it a lot in ecopro mode. The manual says something along the lines of 'conditions are not optimum for maximum efficiency'. It would be great to understand exactly what it means.

Thanks in advance

Re: display charging rate

I would like to see a display in the car of the amount of charge taken on (in kwh) for the last charge session. And an actual kw drain during travelling, and a power used (in kwh) for last journey...... oh and kwh regenerated in last journey. The ending SOC - the starting SOC x 19 will give you how...

Re: To all lease owners: Do you wish you had bought instead?

If right now, the cost to replace the battery is roughly $10-15k, in six years it will probably be sub $5k, so I don't see that as a major issue. The i3 has an eight-year battery warranty so replacement before then isn't a cost for you. You can buy a five-year maintenance-service package for a few ...

Re: display charging rate

When you plug in the car, the dashboard displays the approximate time charging will be completed. A display of current rate won't tell you that because the rate varies during the charge cycle. In my experience the car is always charged before the time displayed on the dash. I would like to see a di...

Re: 19" or 20" wheels?

Ahh.... That's making me nervous. I'll be test driving soon, but worried the 20" won't feel as comfortable as the 19"...and can't find a model I like with the 19 at the moment.... lol... but in all honesty, what is one inch? not a lot! In fact its only 0.5 inch on each opposite side really... In te...

Re: 19" or 20" wheels?

Hi guys, my first post! Regarding the 19 inch vs 20 inch I have driven both multiple times, and there is no question in my mind that the 19 inch provides a smoother ride and is overall best. The 20 inch are harder and I imagine much easier to flat if you are unlucky with a pothole in addition to da...
