Wanted: Trade Dark Oak for Eucalyptus

Is anyone interested in trading their eucalyptus wood dash trim for dark oak? I just bought a 2019 i3s with Giga World interior and it has dark oak wood trim. It's in perfect condition, but I prefer the look of eucalyptus wood trim with the Giga World/Lodge interior design.

Re: Deka World dominance?

It’s a shame that a light-colored leather option was never available. The light-color leather options (like “Oyster”) on BMW’s ICE cars are beautiful.

Deka World dominance?

My i3s lease is ending next month. I'll be returning a Melbourne Red 2019 i3s REx/Giga World with Eucalyptus/Technology & Driving Assistant/Moonroof/Jet Black wheels. I special ordered the car in late 2018, and it was built and delivered in early 2019. The residual is too high for me to consider...

Re: Mazda's Answer to the i3?

I love Mazda as a brand. I've owned three RX-8s (two of them R3s) and I think the Mazda3 and Mazda6 are by far the best vehicles in their respective classes in terms of driving dynamics and interior/exterior design. Having said that, this car looks like a turd. Awkward/ugly proportions, especially i...

Re: i3 LED Headlights

Here's a brief video detailing BMW's active LED headlight system: https://youtu.be/8Y3tkMD6Vew Unfortunately, U.S. models don't have the beam shaping capability, because U.S. regulations do not allow it. While the LED headlamps are self-leveling, they don't turn with the steering, and they don't dyn...

Re: Loss of Power in Real Life after 30 seconds

I have some anecdotal evidence: I live in Los Angeles, and there are some great canyon roads nearby. I have a 2019 i3s REx (120aH), and I've taken it out on some canyon carving expeditions. On my first such outing, I was trying to keep pace with an ICE sports car (within the safe limits of tire adhe...

BMW i3 Urban Suite

If I could afford to have my own driver, I'd be all over this:

Re: When did ACC go to radar?

My 2019 i3s, built in mid-March of this year, has camera-based ACC. Honestly, it's underwhelming, but I don't regret getting Driver Assistant Plus. ACC turns itself off regularly, whether from sun glare, oncoming headlights, or miscalculated distance. It hates vehicles parked on the side of the road...
