Re: New Rims for my 2015 BMW i3

I didn't realize how much of a wheel/tire guy I was until I installed the BMW winter set on the i3. Those winter tires are sooooo skinny, I've seen motorbikes with wider tires! I

Re: New i3 Owner

Hey Tmann, I'm in your neighbourhood and am looking to get an i3 Rex, my budget is under $30K CDN so I'm limited to a 2014 to 2015 model. Any advice before I pull the trigger? Thanks john The biggest thing for me, and I should've researched this more before buying, is that the range reduction in co...

Re: Interior

IMO, it's a matter of taste. It's edgy and modern looking. I personally like the floating center screen. In fact, I don't think there has been a single person that has sat in my i3 and said anything other than, to paraphrase, "this is so cool". Once I tell them about the real wood, carbon fiber etc....

Re: Replacing Steering Wheel

This is awesome, thanks for posting. I changed the OEM steering wheel twice in my two previous 330i E90 cars. I installed a M-Sport leather wheel with tri-color stich which I ordered from eBay and shipped from Europe. The steering wheel was fantastic. I'm hoping to find one that I can retrofit to th...

Re: BMW remote app not working

The app is not working for me in the past week now. Can’t precondition the car. I know this post is old but anyone has been experiencing issues now in 2019? I’ve had more issues with the newer BMW Connected app than with the older iRemote app. The older app seems more reliable and is able to commun...

Re: BMW i3 auxiliary battery sizes

I'm going on vacation from Saturday to Saturday and was thinking of leaving the i3 plugged into the standard 110v wall charger while I'm gone. I have a 6:00am climatize schedule set for weekdays as well. The i3 will be in the garage with expected minus (Celcius) temps next week. Would that be ok or...

Re: BMW i3 auxiliary battery sizes

Very interesting topic and hopefully my question is not too far off; I'm going on vacation from Saturday to Saturday and was thinking of leaving the i3 plugged into the standard 110v wall charger while I'm gone. I have a 6:00am climatize schedule set for weekdays as well. The i3 will be in the garag...
