Re: Show charging stations on map

Thanks! That is just what I thought it should have! I looked before and couldn't find it, needed to do the extra bit of searching that ya only do when you are sure you are missing something.

Show charging stations on map

I think it would be nice if you could set the Navigation to always show where the charging stations are. It knows where they are, why not have them show up on the nav screen when you drive by them?

Re: Heated seat switches off

When on high, it would get hot and later I would notice it has gone cold and I would look and see the light is out. Pushing the button didn't do any good at this point. More recently I put it at the lowest setting and it continued to work as long as I wanted it to. It got plenty warm. I can live wit...

Re: Heated seat switches off

I set the seat heat at it's lowest level and it stayed on for a 3 mile trip.

Heated seat switches off

The driver's side heated seat turns on, warms up and then goes off after a few minutes. It won't turn back on unless I restart the car (2014 BEV) I found a video on youtube with a guy who has the same problem. Seems he ruled out the controller under the seat by switchng it with the passenger side, b...

Re: Brake Lights & Coding: Dash Indicator? Activation Level?

"if you want to piss off the guy behind you with flickering brake lights in steady commute hour traffic, that's the way to trigger "that guy" with the boiling blood to make an idiotic aggressive passing move just to make a point. It's kind of like the inconsiderate drivers who park it in the fast la...

Re: Key fob won't open or start car

I have had a similar intermittent problem with one of my key fobs. The battery is good, but doesn't always connect well enough. Opening it up, it seems impossible that the contacts are not perfectly connected to the battery. A little squeeze on the case over the battery does the trick when it acts up.

Re: Brake Lights & Coding: Dash Indicator? Activation Level?

I'm not aware of an adjustment for how much regen activates the tail lights, I would be interested in hearing about it if it is found though! I think the stock setting is fine for normal use. It's probably safest to let it activate the brake lights early and not worry about what other people think. ...

Re: Battery's second life

Andy, are you saying you just removed the 60ah pack and installed the 94ah pack in 2 hours, and it worked?! Not even error codes? That would be big exciting news! As for your question, there are lots of inverters for 48v but much less choice and higher price for 360v. I'd consider opening the pack a...

Re: Heated steering wheel -- pretty please?

If my car had a heated steering wheel, I would use it. but I imagine it would be cost prohibitive to retrofit one. There is probably no wiring of sufficent gauge currently going to the steering wheel. In the mean time, there are 12v heated gloves, glove liners and jackets that you can buy right now ...
