Re: To cancel or not

If we only had a crystal ball... Back in 2008, I bought a two year-old used diesel pickup for $19K. This was at the peak of the oil/housing bubbles, and the original owner paid $43K for it brand new. Re: is the brake fluid service necessary

Brake fluid is hygroscopic, and draws water out of the air regardless of mileage. Change it every two years as cheap insurance.....

Re: upgrade charging

Plan for the future...pull at least a 50A circuit while the cost is just heavier wire and not labor all over again. That will cover a 40A EVSE, which the i3 can't fully utilize but your next EV most likely will be able to take advantage of.....

AT&T shutting down 3G by February 2022 and impact on BMWs

This supposedly went out to impacted customers today by SMS text: http://www.att.com/3gmigration What to know about 3G going away To bring you faster speeds and new capabilities, we have to evolve our network through a number of changes. One of those changes is phasing out our 3G network by February...

Re: frunk mobility tray - what goes in it?

I was thinking that it was either an emergency flashlight or screwdriver holder, or perhaps some piece of mandatory safety equipment in certain global markets that we don't get in North America (like the reflective triangle in the trunk or required first aid kits and safety vests). I was also thinki...

Re: What's Your Default Driving Mode?

Now where can I find that Race Mode... :D There's a large, funny-looking knob sticking out of the right side of the steering column. Turn it counter-clockwise in drive readiness mode with your foot on the brake pedal, and the "R" will light up for race mode. Funny side story from my trip home...

Re: What's Your Default Driving Mode?

I run mine in Race Mode, with the traction control off.

Seriously, I also run Eco Pro mode (default coded), with the soft speed cap bumped up to 67 MPH.....

Re: Comfort access and high beam assistance

It would help if we knew what year and trim level your car is. In the early years, comfort access only came on the higher end models. If there are a series of vertical ridges on the outside door handles, the car has comfort access. I have no idea what high beam assistance does, and don't recall seei...

Will they test samples from the refrigerant lines, too? :D
That is actually a good question, and I guess there's one way to find out:
