Re: The snappy throttle years

I'd really like a tune to deliver full power from a stop (like launch cars), full regen, i3s horsepower (same motor, same battery... so it's just a tune limit), and i3s top speed.

The only major difference between the two is the battery capacity, correct? What is the actual range difference taking into account the age and sa...

Re: How best to transport my dog in i3

Re: DC fast charging update after 3500miles

I don’t think anyone is suggesting that using public level 2 chargers makes any sense—level 2 chargers are for overnight charging at home, where speed doesn’t really matter. DC fast chargers do wear out batteries faster, but it takes many miles for that to present itself. It just means your battery ...

Re: Pondering the notion of using an i3 as the basis of a home hydroelectric power setup. Why is this a bad idea...?

The i3 has a differential, so I guess that means you'll have to lock the opposite wheel in order to generate power. And also since it sounds like you already have a waterwheel in your mill, environmental concerns are "grandfathered in". I might also have to get the front hubs spinning, as well, to ...

Waiting for someone to drop the other shoe on me... How about dropping an army boot on the idea...the Army Corps of Engineers? Rumor has it that they don't have a sense of humor when someone messes with water flows these days..... Seems like it shouldn't be too bad: Whether your system will be grid...
