Concerned, for sure, and I'd be surprised it was significantly in error. But it's worth it to have the current owner run it down and recharge it just to be sure.

This is good to know. I always thought the HV disconnect was recommended but not required. I had no idea it could result in this much chaos.

There are some stock BMW OUCs (Delphi EVSEs) that are 8 amp units. That would equate to 960 watts as a reference minimum charge the i3 could accept. It's not a 10% buffer, it's 4-5% buffer, the other portion exists at the bottom end. 20% "degradation" by choice vs. actual degradation are two different things. When I've traveled in my i3, ABRP is really handy for indicating where I need 80% compared to legs I might need 95% or 100%, and...
