Re: Remote Key fob battery discharging problem w. Easy access

Well...don't think my key is being pressed while I'm in the car driving. When I store the key in the jar, in fact it is a blue Nivea tin jar, the car cannot be opened if locked before. So I'm sure there is no communication between the car and the key while the key is in the tin jar. Will swap to my ...

Remote Key fob battery discharging problem w. Easy access

Hi, My car has the easy access option, I.e. no need to press the key fob open button to open up the car. Just have the key in my pocket and the car gives me access. This is all ok, if it were not for the constant need to replace the small battery in the key fob every 2 months or so. Obviously the ke...

Re: Which versions of the AC compressor have people had failures with?

Re: Upgrade battery.

Hi,
Yes, please give us all the details!

What happened after full recharge of the new battery? Was any coding needed?
What is the new kilometer range with 100% charge?
Do you know new net battery capacity recognised by the car?

Thanks for sharing with us.

Re: bmw i3 motor mount it broke ( 2016 and no REX)

From what can be seen in the Parts diagrams, the engine mount problem was not entierly fixed in late 2015 since the 2 engine mounts (parts no. 3 and 4) were updated again in july 2017....not sure why but obviously due to problems or design improvements.

My i3 is MY2016, should I be worried?

SLI activation on i3?

Hi, Has anyone suceeded in having the SLI (speed limit information) icon displayed on the instrument cluster ? There seems to be an emulator device that you plug in to the car that tricks the ECU to show the SLI without having the factory on board camera option installed. I've seen this on other BMW...

Re: Bimmerlink 12v Battery Registration

The answer from them is "...no plans to introduce it in Bimmercode, use Bimmerlink instead" :D
