Re: Am radio...

For my AM listening pleasure I just get the AM station app on my iPhone and connect via bluetooth. Seems to work fine for me.

Re: $89k Munro i3 Tear-Down Cost Analysis on Sale: $10

Saw this video a while back before I bought an i3. To be honest, it was one of the things that convinced me to take a real hard look at the car.
Not that Murano says everything is great and glowing. But there was still enough to sell me on the car.

Re: Possible probleem?

I'd hard wire it unless you have something else to plug in occasionally, such as an air compressor or a welder. Really, in the event you had to swap it out, hard wiring is just a matter of a cover plate and three wire nuts. It's also less material, and potentially a more secure connection. But ulti...

Re: Possible probleem?

Well, we had a loose neutral in a outlet in the house (same circuit as the one in the garage) The smell coming from the garage is still a mystery. Had to drive about 75 miles yesterday and it drove and performed like new. No issues. I'm chalking this up to dodging a bullet. I appreciate all the grea...

Possible probleem?

So I'm a new (used 2017) I3 owner. I've had the car for about 2 1/2 months. LOVE THE CAR!! It seems since having the car, on occasion, when charging, we trip a breaker. Occasionaly, meaning a few times in the last 2 1/2 months. (I know that's probably too much) For the record I have an electrician c...

Re: Battery PreConditioning - Battery Life

New 2017 i3 owner here, I have had the car for 2 months. This is a good question indeed. I assume you live in a cold weather area. I'm in Illinois and have been wondering if one needs to do conditioning year around? I of course, do it on cold days here because it's nice to have the car warm. Does it...

Re: What octane rating is right for the REx: 89 or 91?

Likely nothing to do with octane rating. My understanding is that there are far more additives in premium gas compared to regular. Top tier gas also has more additives. Mid grade is simply a mix of the two grades. Fuel injectors keep cleaner with more additives. This is important for injectors that...

Re: Maintaining 12 V Battery Charge while Physical Distancing

Update: Took my i3 to my mechanic yesterday to check / replace the battery. He called me back and said he had checked the battery and it was fine. No reason at the moment to change it out. He recommended I do the change in 6 - 9 months. Love the guy, he is very honest. So I will wait till around Oct...
