Re: Odd coding problem

Thanks for the input. As a follow up question...with the exception of the coding session in question, my estimated gas range has been super consistent at 64-66 miles regardless of how I drive. Should it not be 80 as the tank is not limited as noted above?

Re: Roof epoxy failure?

did you by it used or CPO. If it is CPO then it shouldn't matter what was done by the previous owner, BMW inspected the car and said "it'd fine" so whatever was done to the roof before was ok by their standards and should be covered. If it's a regular used car, then you might be screwed...unless som...

Odd coding problem

Hello all, I just filled up my 2017 Rex and I ran the basic fuel tank remove limitation on bimmercode and got some unexpected results below: gas GOM went from 65m to 99m....it crept down to 80 by the end of the day, and this morning was 66m. I have read other posts that describe that I should not go...

Re: Fed up with my 94ah REX - 6 weeks!!

Battery packs are expensive, but getting cheaper on a daily basis. I am not necessarily buying into the "someday batteries will be perfect" idea, but the reality that batteries today are cheaper than a decade ago. They are also getting more powerful and while some companies are going with using that...

Re: Trunk weight limit

Is it me or does the weight limit something that should have been written on the sticker??? Seems sloppy (and net very German engineering-ish) to warn you of a piece of equipment's limitation and not state the limit. Odd thing is that the dealer that pointed this out said this was to protect the REX...

Re: Trunk weight limit

Thanks for all the replies. They did not exactly answer my question but they did give me some good insights. Alohart - my cover is definitely stainless. I'm not sure it the different covers are based on year or configuration. I have a 2017 Rex. I would imagine the stainless is stronger, but who know...

Trunk weight limit

I noted that there is a no suitcase logo on the mounted panel under the decorative panel in the trunk/boot. Clearly this is meant to indicate that there is a weight limit, which I think one dealer I talked to had also mentioned. I don't plan on hauling bags of concrete or anything, but I would also ...

Re: Fed up with my 94ah REX - 6 weeks!!

I was a lot of really good points here.... The original post leaves me confused though. First lack of torque??? I love the quick off the line speed of this car. Second these are very low maintenance/error vehicles; no vehicle is free of problems, but it is simple math less parts=less chance of probl...
