Re: REx Distance

2015 REx owner here. I typically get 70 miles off battery and 70-75 off REx (coded my tank to 2.4g). For your needs a 2017 would work fine. 2017 would get you 115mi off EV + 70 off REx. Your AZ heat might kill 20-30% of those figures. If you can plan your sales calls around some charging it’ll make ...

Re: Preconditioning last minute adjustment?

Alternatively if you're within range of the car, you can also code your key fob, so that one of the buttons becomes a dedicated button to activate the climate precon. Does anyone have the instructions for this? I’ve read you can change the key fob function to allow this. I have a 2015 REx and Bimme...

Re: Serious problem with new BMW ConnectedDrive Website (USA)

Thank you! Just realized there’s actually two fuse box locations under the passenger side glove box. I was looking in the one that requires bolts to be removed. Also found this YouTube video on this procedure. Hopefully it’ll fix my UnConnectedDrive issue with sending commands to the car. https://yo...

Re: Serious problem with new BMW ConnectedDrive Website (USA)

Thank you jfran2 for the hugely helpful suggestion. I just successfully sent a command to my car for the first time in nearly a year. To anyone else reading this, pull out fuse 115, wait a minute, put it back in, wait another minute or two. It really worked. Been having nothing but issues with this...

Re: 12 Volt Auxiliary Battery East Penn Deka AUX18L

After reading this I don’t want to take any chances with my 2015 REx at 35k being 12V dead. Any experience with East Penn in WA State?

Re: Can you set a default drive mode on the i3?

BimmerCode can change the values of parameters that BMW uses to implement market-specific behaviors. Beside changing the default driving mode to Eco Pro, I have done the following: • automatically unfold side mirrors when speed exceeds 5 km/h • turn on brake force flashing with hard braking • set t...
