Re: What does your "miles to empty" show when full?

Well my last two fill-ups have shown 231 miles to empty. It must have adjusted the range from the previous owner. I'm guessing it will continue to drop...

Front Collision/Pedestrian Warning

Does this work if you don't have anything "activated"? In the manual, there is something about an "Intelligent Safety Button", but it doesn't indicate where this button see, nor do I see it on my dash. Is this feature only available when you have cruise control with distance control on? This doesn't...

Re: 20" rims

No I love the look of the 20s. It was one of my "must haves" when I was shopping. Just a little bumpier ride than I would have liked. I didn't know about winter tires not being available though. That is really unfortunate. Why would they make wheels that don't work in the winter? lol. I can deal wit...

20" rims

I'm not sure if I like these wheels. Maybe 10 years ago I may have like them a lot more, when appearance trumped everything else. I also test drove an i3 with 19" wheels and I thought it was a much more comfortable ride, but I didn't drive them back to back (1 week apart). Are the tires the same bet...

Re: What does your "miles to empty" show when full?

Thanks for the replies! How much does extra passengers effect your range? My other vehicle is in the shop and I'm going on a trip with the whole family this weekend in the i3 for the first time. Total weight would be about 500 lbs (me, wife and 2 small kids). The trip is 80 miles so it's close to th...

Re: What does your "miles to empty" show when full?

Wow, then I'm showing a 40% increase on my estimated miles to empty. I'll have to set my trip meter and see if I'm getting anything near that. I'm guessing it's not that accurate. I would assume the EPA estimates are almost unrealistic best-case scenarios.

What does your "miles to empty" show when full?

I just bought a 2017 REX model a couple of weeks ago. My range will show 141 miles when full (comfort mode). I'm surprised it is much more than the 114 advertised. I realize this is based on driving habits, so I'm curious what everyone else shows for range after a "fill up". I don't drive like a gra...

Re: Tesla Charging stations

Oh, the salesman gave me incorrect information. Not surprising I suppose. He also told me I should go with a 2018 (was looking at a 2017 ) to go with the bigger battery.
