Re: Any suggestions for extended warranty?

I think with the i3 you better off rolling the dice than purchasing the factory extended warranty. I am not sure about third party warranties.

Re: Test Drive and Highway Manners

I have a 2018 REX. The steering is OK at highway speed, but the car is sensitive to strong crosswinds. Did you test drive in strong windy condition?

Re: Do modifications void warranty?

I think if you had a REX problem they could try to blame it on hold state of charge. But for other components it is unlikely. Re: Buying advice - 2014 or 2019

Re: Thoughts on charger adapters?

I have had one of these (Tesla Tap brand) for about 2 years. Used it two-three times in hotels. Keep in mind that these work for Level 2 only, you cannot use with superchargers. Overall it could be useful in a pinch, but it would be really useful for someone who has a Tesla charger at home and wants...

Re: Anyone found another tire that fits??

It shows 15 tires in stock? I did not attempt to buy, and the 175/60 is not available at this time.

Re: Buying advice - 2014 or 2019

I would actually suggest a 2018 BEV. You will still save money, but you will have the facelifted car with several improvements and better reliability.

Re: Anyone found another tire that fits??

I noticed some Chinese tires are available on Amazon. With Bridgestone jacking up prices these could be good alternatives: https://www.amazon.com/Tri-Ace-Season-Radial-Tire-70R19/dp/B07F6PZPDW/ref=m_pd_aw_sbs_vft_none_sccl_2/132-4173447-5671114?pd_rd_w=VCDqP&content-id=amzn1.sym.065eff8c-874b-4a...

Talk to an EME specialist, you can find on ebay. They might be able to diagnose from error codes. https://www.ebay.com/itm/115563295237?hash=item1ae81bf205:g:HjgAAOSwhrVjR7OY&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4MJbpKUTwj4snb3D97XzTK%2B8TRYzeN2V5%2Fq0T5mASvaNGf0U96UqF1WIcyUfTfL%2BYTzG46XRo%2BL4pXu6Ts9UU4eOtq86...

Re: 2014 BEV $7k repair quote, scrap the car?

I think 10 year warranty is for REX models. BEV models get 8 years warranty.
