Thanks for the links chaps.

It looks like going down the OEM route will cost more than 4x aftermarket. I guess I'll just have to see if I can find away to be without the car for a few weeks

Anyone found somebody who can do a decent job of reupholstering seats in the UK? The only place that seemed interested that I found was called: Seat Surgeons, but they need the existing seats for 3-4 weeks (see below): Unfortunately we do not have the pattern for the BMW i3. Ive installed LED bulbs into my low beams. pretty easy...some things to watch out for..... 1) dont buy bulbs with fans on them for cooling, the fans crap out, get ones with a decent heatsink instead. 2) buy bulbs with leds on both sides of the unit so that they send light up and down at the same ti...

Nearly 2 years and still the same terrible app & online software. Depressing indictment of how BMW doesn't get it. The tech companies will surely put them out of business. If not Tesla, the next one...

@epirali are you seriously claiming that with your super sensitive professional ears you don't hear the motor whine (rather than light noise)? It's really noticeable in my wife's 16 Rex
