Regarding the traction control, the system was upgraded for the 2018 model year. It's quicker to react and no longer has those issues.

It can be heard twice. Something must be loose, but I'm not sure where to go hunting. It sounds like it's mostly from the rear, but sometimes it sounds closer to the front.

I would strongly recommend coding "hold state of charge" which adds an option to start the REx as low as 75% state of charge.

Non-US i3s all have this option by default.
