Re: steering Wheel became Hard to turn

Had this happen today. Pulling right like a flat tire and steering was heavy and would not return to center. After coming back from the store and restarting the car its back to normal. Odd that no errors pop up.

Anyone else still have this happen?

Thank you appie for the followup. A buddy of mine has a Golf (ice), really nice car and would be great on your 130 mile trips.

Re: Extended Warranty or Gamble

I decided to skip on the warranty and just roll with my fingers crossed. From what I have been reading it doesn't seem to be common issues that arise and not many users complaining. I think If was buying a used REX I would get the warranty.

Re: Illinois

Wow I didn't even know that Illinois is a top nuclear producer. I am going to look into that I am very curious about it. I have been looking at trying a trip from Chicago to Springfield and noticed that the Wally's DCFC is out for a while and it would be too far to try and make it to the Bloomington...

Re: To I3 REx or not to I3 REx?

Apple what did you end up deciding?

I am piggybacking off of this thread as I am curious about the i3 if some needed major repairs, if there are common expensive issues, or its just random.

Hello everyone,

Illinois

Yellow fellow Midwesterners. Just wondering why our state is so behind in the DCFC game? Yes my city of Chicago has a bunch, but once you try to wander down state, through Indiana, around Wisconsin pickings are slim until you get to a major city. Even then there are some really large gaps of service...

Re: Extended Warranty or Gamble

Thanks eNate. I have never done a 3rd party or extended warranty before either. Read a few people here had a really expensive A/C repair bill and seat heat fail bill. I don't think the parts look to be the most expense on the repair bill, most of it is the labor. Maybe if I can find an independent b...

Extended Warranty or Gamble

Hello all, I am looking for your expert opinions on if getting an extended warranty is worth it? It would be a Carmax maxcare one for 5 years 75,000 miles on a 2017 i3 Bev 20k miles for roughly $2,000. Now I would rather not cough up an extra $2k but I have had a VW German car out of warranty and a ...
