Re: De-badging

I'm on the fence. I've always de-baged my cars, always. But the silver and blue badges on the back kind of go with the blue on the rest of the car. Part of me even wants to remove the BMW badge back there, its HUGE. But I think it might make even more people ask "what kind of car is that?" Anyone ha...

Re: Dark colored headliner

Wow, what a great job. If I end up buying the car at the end of the lease I will definitely be doing this. I miss my black headliner in my e46 ZHP

Re: How many have had the drive train malfunction error?

2015 REx, purchased 4/30/15, coded an hour after purchase and driven home, 425'ish miles, about 300 with REx on. Have used REx a little bit the past few days but I have not gotten any errors from the car yet.

Re: Knucklehead USB location

Another option is an L shaped adapter. Depending on which direction you go with the L though, you might cover your aux-in (if you use it) or it might go towards the bottom and not have enough room, or off to one of the sides with the same problem.

Re: Rex Gas Cap Won't Open

Pop the frunk, on the side that has the fuel filler door you will find a green circle, I believe it has a fuel symbol on it, pull it out, pulling the slack, then pull it just a little harder and you'll be able to open the full filler door. My e46 had the same one in the trunk that I had to use once ...

Re: Project i3

I sure hope if efficiency is your only priority that you always drive in Eco pro +. I, on the other hand wish we had a sport option. Efficiency isn't everything and minor tweaks will probably only have minor effects.

Re: Lease Deal Seems Bad

If you are anywhere near Atlanta I would suggest checking out United BMW Roswell. I'm getting a 2015 REx with every option ($55,850 MSRP) and after putting $4500 down my payment is only $558. Same MF, same $4875 from BMWFS. I'm getting more off of MSRP than $2500, not quite double. Oh, but I am buyi...

Tint looks great.

I struggled with going white or grey, grey ended up winning. Hope to pick mine up Thursday morning!

Re: How do I take advantage of a 480v outlet at work?

Folks, the BMW onboard charger(s) will not like handle a single phase of 480 volts (277 volts). The Tesla cars can use 277 volts because those same chargers that are in the car are also used in the Superchargers on 480 volts. If you used a transformer to step down the 277 volts to below 264 volts, ...
