Re: i3 Horn sound

+1, not loud and I don't like the delay. I was disappointed the first time I had to use it and even wondered if one of two horns was disconnected. My previous car, a Saabaru, had a very loud horn that was more effective and I knew other drivers could hear it. Now I wonder if a driver can hear my hor...

Re: iRemote not updating

Same problem here, last update was on 11/31. Just got a new phone and thought it was related to that until I saw this post. I can still set a departure time, activate climate control and use the remote control functions.

Re: Glove box door not aligned - how to fix?

The wood for my glove box doesn't align well at all, haven't noticed any rattling though. Thought it was just a bad install on my vehicle but I'm curious how many are like this after reading this post. Sounds like the predrilled holes for the hinges aren't in the correct location. It bothers me ever...

Re: Locked cable and still ongoing

There have been a few posts about this, unfortunately the search function in this new forum format is worthless so every time I tried to find one of these posts I was prompted by a message stating I used too common of a word. Maybe it's because I'm using an iPad or it's crappy coding. There is a sma...

Re: The Honeymoon is Over - Lease Near An End - BEWARE!

I measured my rear tire depth last night and they are around 4/32, less on the inner tread. This is after driving for 1 year and about 14k miles. Not good with snow season coming. I drive it somewhat conservatively for the most part, don't take corners like I'm on rails, but I do enjoy the 'off the ...

Re: Felt the rage against EVs

I've had a few dirty and confused looks from other drivers. Probably could be for any reason from "your car is ugly", "you don't contribute to road funds", or "BUY AMERICAN!". Funny that many drivers with the last comment don't realize they have more foreign parts in their "American vehicle" than so...

Re: 2017 U.S. Prices and Lease Changes

Couldn't disagree more. The stock system is appalling for a car with this much technology! The extra $800 for the HK is well spent. Fair point, a car with a $50k MSRP marketed with the "latest and greatest" should have a premium system included. I don't disagree that the $800 is worth it if sound q...

Re: Low fuel level warning issue on i3 Rex

To understand something like the i3 REx, you have to stop thinking like an ICE and all of the decades of experience you have had with it! The car ALWAYS runs on electricity. The REx just is another way to put some into the car verses stopping and attaching to an EVSE or a CCS system. As long as the...

Re: No Spare Wheel/tire!

I think the difference is not the bolt/pattern, but the width of the wheel and tire. Most i3's have narrow fronts and wider rears. A BEV can have the same narrow tires front and back. I think you're correct. I thought I saw a few posts that mentioned the bolt/pattern but they said offset, which mak...

Re: Degrading fuel

If you have the Rex tank full with fuel and you manage with pure electric for a long time - months, 6 months etc. Can the fuel in the Rex degrade? Should it be run down occasionally and filled with fresh fuel? I've had times when I drive a month without using the REx but I try to run it before it r...
