Re: Traffic jam assist retro

Thank you for your reply. We e-mailed the seller and he is shipping a replacement. The module is either not properly programmer or has hw issues. There were several errors including LIN bus related to that and he concluded the module is likely dead. Well, I got my Quidzel module last week, and tpax...

Re: Bimmercode hold state of charge.

So, the car is always "running the wheels" on electricity. No matter what (unless you run so far out of battery+gas that it refuses to move at all.) When the REx is running, it is supplying electricity to the batteries. The motor then draws power from the batteries to run the wheels. Regardless of i...

Re: No audio through bluetooth when YouTube is playing

Okay, I'm thoroughly confused by your "hypothetically" and other oddities. Could you please just state it plainly? Are you saying "when playing YouTube on my phone, the audio does not go to the car via Bluetooth"? It works fine for me, I've had YouTube movies playing on an iPad in the back seat, wit...

Re: Heavy duty floor mats

Earlier in the thread, someone posted a Flickr album of them, you can see the black "lip" around the main mat - https://www.flickr.com/photos/watson_co ... 757131254/

They should hold water when stationary and level. Obviously it would slosh around when you move, or are on a hill.

New Member - TJA programming via app yet?

Hi all, got my used i3 REx a few weeks ago, and promptly got a Bluetooth OBD-II adapter and BimmerCode to unlock the full REx functionality and play with a few other settings. (US-spec i3 here.) Only *AFTER* doing that did I discover that Traffic Jam Assist was a thing; and ordered the HOD Emulator ...

Re: Air Conditioner in 2015 i3

The recirc button goes from A to M, M to blank, and then blank back to A. Any idea what recirc is doing when blank? Does A ever do anything but mix in outside air? A is "automatic" - it recirculates when it decides the inside air is better to hold temp/humidity than outside air (if it's particularl...

Re: Doug DeMuro - Here's Why the BMW i3 Absolutely Isn't Worth $50,000

My only complaint is that in 99% of his reviews, when he reviews a car that isn't brand new, he bases the "value" on the current used price of the same model year vehicle. In this one, he bases it on the price of a brand new one.
