Re: Including battery wear level in Used I3 listings

I just bought mine yesterday and never even thought of battery health! The original 60 Ah battery packs seem to be the ones whose health could be failing. 94 Ah battery packs like that in your i3 seem to be doing much better in general. So I wouldn't worry if I were you. Ya, like Art said, your new...

Can you guys be awesome and upload a quick clip of how it sounds? Been "hearing" about this 2020 feature, I'm super curious what kind of sound BMW chose. THX!

Re: What's the least and most range per full charge 60ah,94ah,120ah

I get goofy numbers on the recup page on the app. Sometimes the numbers look plausible, other times, they're like ridiculously off, like a basically make more energy regen'ing vs consumption. Regen rates can be difficult to interpret because both highway cruising with very little regen and slamming...

Buying Cap white paint for DIY application

looking to primer, paint, and clear coat the thick black plastic strip below the doors. Side skirts I guess they're called. Wondering if anyone has any experience using the following product: https://www.amazon.com/PAINTSCRATCH-Capparis-White-B88-2017/dp/B06WRNDWP4 Or does anyone know where I can or...

Re: Including battery wear level in Used I3 listings

I don't disagree with you, it would be so easy to include. I'd be interested in seeing it become the norm. But why don't internal combustion ads include engine compression values? Or a particular used car's actual average fuel economy? A detailed private party seller might, but a dealer doesn't wan...

Re: Identifying Interior/Exterior Rattles

Great work electronchaser. A friend did a similar thing you did (foam) on his last few Miatas. Made a huge difference! Many thanks! It's fun to see how the car came together, shortcomings and all :) Great learning experience. You also come to appreciate the unconventional approaches they took since...

(I wonder how much regen puts back into the pack throughout my drive. too bad we don't have access to basic data like that ) The BMW Connected app displays the affects of regen during the last trip. It's listed under "Recuperation" showing the distance driven required to add 1 kWh of energy to the ...

Re: Carrying Cargo 'n Things in Our i3's...

Shoot, too easy Art! Especially for a fellow BEV owner who has considered such a cargo extender. Unfortunately, shipping costs to Honolulu make the cost way more than I want to spend. I also wonder about how such an extender would work in practice. How accessible is the extra capacity? The cargo ar...
