Coolant Reservoirs on BMW i3 Rex

In the i3 owner's manual, it shows two coolant reservoirs in the frunk, one for the climate control system and one for the "drive." I presume the "drive" reservoir is not for the Rex engine coolant. Is the Rex coolant reservoir in the rear under the engine cover near the oil dipstick? Thanks for the...

Re: Battery Pre-Conditioning

With my JuiceBox Pro 40, I try to get the benefit of both (battery preconditioning and heat from the charging process) during the winter months. I schedule the charging time to start around 3 hours before my departure time (set through the ConnectedDrive app) and also adjust the Amp settings on my c...

Re: ConnectedDrive

It is a shame that BMW i3 owners have to resort to pulling fuses in order to make certain aspects of their vehicles function correctly, but alas that is the situation we presently face.

Re: ConnectedDrive

I am happy to report that I pulled Fuse 115 and allowed the cellular modem to reboot. Now, all remote app functions are WORKING, including the ones that previously were not functioning for me.

Re: ConnectedDrive

For me, all of the current status information and most of the functions on the Connected Drive app work EXCEPT for remotely setting a departure time, activating a charging schedule and the Climatize Now function. For those functions/commands, I get a timeout error message after a couple of minutes s...

Re: Rear Bumper Guard/Protection

I ordered the Rearguards bumper cover. The total cost, including shipping from the U.K., was around $140.00. The installation was very easy, and it looks great. Thanks to MKH for the photos and product information.

Re: Question about current availability of Enhanced Auto comfort-drive TJA module

I asked the question in this (a separate) post since I received no responses to my earlier post which was buried at the end of a long posting regarding TJA questions. In addition to being condescending and rude, your response is not helpful. Next time, stop and think before you consider typing a res...

Question about current availability of Enhanced Auto comfort-drive TJA module

Hello all. Does anyone know if the Enhanced Auto comfort-drive TJA module for the BMW i3 is still being sold? The Enhanced Auto website is constantly showing that the module is sold out. If it is still being sold, I think I would like to try it first before the Quidzel module. Thanks.

Re: Rear Bumper Guard/Protection

I ordered this one from Amazon.

Rear Trunk Bumper Protector Guard Non Slip Rubber Sill Cover 41 inch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D5SXM6H/re ... rDbTA6701G

Alohart has reported that the 41 inch version is a perfect fit for the i3.
